Riad Samsara - Marrakesh

Restored traditional riad in Marrakesh's UNESCO-listed Medina

Location

Riad Samsara sits within Marrakesh's historic Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The property is a 10-minute drive from Djemaa El Fna square and 2 miles from Bahia Palace. Guests walk 20 minutes to Majorelle Gardens, and the nearby souks offer authentic local culture with fewer tourists.

Accommodations

Each of the riad's limited guest rooms is air-conditioned and includes a private bathroom with shower. Rooms are decorated with traditional Moroccan elements, preserving original architectural features. The property's courtyard features fountains and bougainvillea, with a rooftop terrace providing views over the medina.

Dining

A traditional Moroccan breakfast is served every morning in the courtyard or dining rooms. Guests can also request local dishes for lunch or dinner, served in one of two dining rooms adorned with mandarin trees. The mint tea is frequently noted as the best in Marrakech by guests.

Wellness & Services

On-site spa services include massages, available by appointment. The riad offers a round-trip shuttle to Marrakech Menara Airport upon request, as well as a tour desk to arrange excursions. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property, and public parking is available nearby for a fee.

For adventure travelers, the riad can arrange trekking near Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. The property's location allows easy access to both cultural sites and outdoor excursions. Guests can also join guided tours of the medina and local markets through the tour desk.
